Many of the men who served our country find themselves falling upon hard times in their later years. Asheville, NC, however has some of the finest facilities for veterans including a very large Veteran's Hospital. When you encounter a vet on the streets of Asheville, tell him thanks. John Haldane is a published professional artist living in Asheville, North Carolina. His artwork has been featured in fine art galleries in Arizona and North Carolina and in calendars, books, and magazines.
