The people who attend the Drum Circle on Friday nights in Asheville are as fascinating as the music and drum beats. I don't know if this is the Lone Ranger, a clown, or a Mardi Gras participant (even though the pic was taken in August). One thing is certain: he is another of the characters who makes Asheville the unique place that it is.

John Haldane is a published professional artist living in Asheville, North Carolina. His artwork has been featured in fine art galleries in Arizona and North Carolina and in calendars, books, and magazines. The magazines include The Scenic, the Laurel of Asheville, The Writers & Artists Quarterly, COSTCO Magazine, Wild WNC News, Camera in the Wild Magazine, and others.
